Wildcat Gun Machine Offers Bullet Hell Combat for Cats
A trailer and details have been released by Daedalic Entertainment, Chunkybox Games and Wildcat Gun Machine, their bullet-hell shooter. The trailer shows off the game’s exaggerated and cartoony art style, many firearms, and a sinister atmosphere.
Although the title may feature DNA from roguelikes such as Enter the Gungeon and The Binding of Isaac, a press release stated that Wildcat Gun Machine’s levels are designed intentionally, not procedurally. This ensures that every fur-raising fight has been created to include level design and enemy behavior to create an almost puzzle-like experience to keep players engaged, or rather on their toes.
A live-action cat is seen in the trailer, strapped with nerf bandoliers and ready to go. Wildcat Gun Machine’s cats are less cute, however.
