Sea of Thieves Season 4 has arrived! It brings many of the same things that we have come to expect from a new season: new regular content and seasonal progression, commendations for good work, cosmetics, events, etc. Let’s look at the main portion of the season.
This season’s focus is, as the name suggests, an expansion of the ocean floor. Parts of the ocean floor can now be explored by leveraging some of the Pirates of the Caribbean cross-over events.
Now, small blue shimmering lights can be seen on the ocean’s surface in the form of tiny spiraling light. These are Siren Shrines, which contain the new coral treasure. Six new shrines are available on the map. Each has its own area, vaults, puzzles, and other features. These shrines are always available on the map but can only be accessed when there is light. Similar to how fort raids are activated only when a skull appears overhead, Here are the siren enemies and ocean crawlers that were introduced in the Pirates of the Caribbean event. Coral skeletons are also present.
