This GeForce datamine contains an unhinged PC port request list: God of War and Mario, Resident Evil 4, Remake.
Software engineer found Nvidia’s GeForceNow app. He was able to find an archive that ties together some 18,000 games to PC. These games range from older console games to unannounced dreams.
Igor Juli shared their findings of Middle. They basically pinned the software’s server to find a list, but many of the entries are absurd.
The entry for a God of War PC port is possible because Sony has now ported the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves to PC and PS5. To support its PC efforts, the company recently purchased PC port specialist Nixxes. This is the end of all the cogent predictions.
Here’s a list of some of the truly bizarre games and software Igor Juli found in GeForce Now archives. This is courtesy of Reddit user onkelJupp.
- Resident Evil 4 Remake
- Dragon’s Dogma 2
- The Talos Principle 2
- Monster Hunter 6
- “BioShock 2022.”
- Chrono Cross Remaster
- Kingdom Hearts 4
- Shin Megami Tensei 5
- Super Mario Bros. Wii
- Dolphin (yes, that emulator)
These games are either not yet announced or don’t exist. This means that Nvidia may have either created a lot of optimistic data or just thrown everything it could into the backend to create a placeholder. It’s a funny and illuminating collection of theories that will undoubtedly inspire more tin foil-hating in the future. What is the over-under about Nintendo bringing Super Mario Bros. Wii on PC?
