The Shadowrun Trilogy will be available for Switching Next Year
Two weeks after the big PlayStation 5 event, Nintendo held their own. A host of new titles were revealed and demonstrated during a Nintendo Direct on September 23rd, 2021. This included a new Kirby game and footage of Splatoon 3. These larger titles are what dominated the spotlight. However, many Shadowrun fans were happy to see that Shadowrun Trilogy will also be available on Nintendo Switch.
Shadowrun Trilogy an RPG with tactical turn-based combat, immersive branching narratives, and tactical turn-based combat. Shadowrun began as a science fantasy tabletop game in 1989. However, it was eventually made into a videogame by 1993.
Shadowrun Trilogy will be published by Paradox Interactive on the Nintendo Switch. The collection is being developed by Harebrained Schemes. It will include Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun Dragonfall Director’s Cut. Shadowrun Hong Kong Extended Edition is also included. The title will indicate that Shadowrun Dragonfall Director’s Cut as well as Shadowrun Hong Kong Extended Edition, upgrades to the original titles. These upgrades include a bonus campaign Shadowrun Hong Kong and multiple story missions Shadowrun Dragonfall.
Shadowrun trilogy was previously well-received by PC users and critics. The trailer for the Nintendo Switch Trilogy was shown at a slightly higher resolution. However, it is not clear what kind of upgrades or changes they will receive.
Shadowrun Trilogy will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. This is a significant move for the franchise as it can introduce a new audience of players who have never played the game on PC or smartphone. With all the content in the trilogy, the game’s stylish cyberpunk aesthetic could keep Nintendo Switch players interested. This could bring back fans of the original Shadowrun Trilogy if upgrades are made.
It is not clear if Shadowrun Trilogy will receive an upgrade. This could cause problems when porting it to the Nintendo Switch. While the original looks great, text and other details could get lost when the Nintendo Switch is in handheld mode. If the Nintendo Switch is docked, details can be lost or blurred. The trailer shows the quality of this version. However, gamers won’t need to worry about these issues.
