Stats show that Warzone NZ41 wasn’t nerfed in the July 7 Update
The July 7, update for Warzone contained a significant recoil reduction to the NZ41 assault rifle (AR). Despite Raven Software’s best efforts, the Vanguard AR continues its dominance of the Season 4 meta.
The rifle was nerfed by the developer prior to the latest update to battle royale. However, it did not make any difference in performance. Many are hopeful that Season 4 Reloaded will bring some balance to the game.
Warzone NZ-41 Hasn’t Received A Nerf
The July 7 patch notes mentioned a 20% reduction in recoil recovery. However, the Warzone stats website .gg claims that the actual decrease is much lower.
The recoil recovery has decreased by only 2.78%, instead of 20%. This explains why there isn’t much difference in the post-patch NZ41 numbers over the past weeks. Warzone content creator whosImmortal supports the claim, stating that the AR was not “nerfed”.
According to the YouTuber, “Nerfing 20% is still nothing.” WhosImmortal proposes a reduction in damage to the NZ41 to make it more balanced and less capable of beaming targets from far away.
Enjoy the NZ-41 for now before it disappears from the meta.
