Skyrim Mod Adds Nemesis Systems From ‘Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor’
Another day, another Skyrim mod. Skyrim is one of the most popular modded games. Even though it was released more than a decade ago the game still inspires its players.
One modder has created 16K dragons and another gave the game an Red Dead Redemption-inspired makeover. A realistic Cicero Mod and an ‘ultimate’ Lydia Mod have also been created. Skyrim has many options.
To impress Skyrim lovers, the latest mod adds the Nemesis System from Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor into the game. You’re still here? Let me explain. Monolith Productions’ 2014 title was dominated by the Nemesis system. The Nemesis system was essentially a hierarchy that adapted ranks among NPCs.
If an orc kills a player, the orc can be promoted to become a commander. As they rose the ranks, names were given to nameless NPCs. As NPCs rose the ranks, there was more internal struggle for power in Sauron’s army.
Syclonix created the Shadow of Skyrim mod. It will give Skyrim NPCs a “unique name”, increased stats, and a special buff. The mod also adds quests that allow the player to track down NPC nemeses. Syclonix created all the gameplay systems, and the mod will be officially launched this week on 6 Aug. If you want to give the game a new life, this mod is a must-have.
