Nintendo Leaks a New Kirby Game
Often, Nintendo Directs announcements leak very early. It’s usually a human issue. A video goes live early, trailers have been uploaded and can be viewed by those with access. It’s just part of the process of marketing something that shouldn’t be so secretive. Today’s Direct is an example of this, as Nintendo accidentally revealed a Kirby game before a reveal later that day.
A listing for a Kirby-themed game has been added to their Japanese schedule website for the early 2022. This image shows Kirby standing before what appears to be an abandoned, or destroyed city that is covered in moss.
The schedule also includes Splatoon3 and The Sequel To Breath Of The Wild on the timeline. Bayonetta3 is also listed, though it seems unlikely that this year’s release will be.
