GTA Online Player Escapes from Griefer Barrage in Apartment
Even though many of the GTA purchases can be unnecessary, having a more substantial roof than the Minecraft version of Diamond Casino is essential in a town where everyone is trying to take you down is crucial.
This is especially true if you are regularly targeted by griefers who want to destroy your cargo and ensure that your cash stockpiles are ready for the upcoming Criminal Enterprises update.
One player discovered the value of apartments and has been hiding from a pursuer for some time. This inspired others to share their griefer stakeout stories.
Oi! Your Missiles Block My View of Sunset!
This thread in the GTA Online subreddit started with a post by userA_Lucid_Dreamer. It showed a terrifying clip of a griefer firing missiles at their apartment windows using an Oppressor Mark 2. The caption read: “Went into my apartment to avoid griefer. It lasted about 30 minutes. It was entertaining to watch, and I’m not going to lie.”
This provoked a flurry of responses from GTA players who have experienced similar stakeouts. Contrarian_Eh said: “I love calling muggers and mercenaries on them when they are on the ground and watching it on TV,” prompting cardboardboxian’s reply: “Same, IDK, but muggers seem so funny to me.”
Some users suggested a more pacifist-centric approach. DeadlyRanger21 said: “It’s much funnier when they don’t reply to texts, and you then say, “had to run to (are) you still here?” and llxAstroxll added: “It makes their blood boil when they don’t fight back.” This is the best way to deal with these idiots.
Some players wondered aloud how the griefer knew which window in the apartment building to target with the missiles. A few users donned conspiracy hats to suggest that two friends might have staged the encounter.
A common explanation was offered by several players in the thread as a glitch involving thermal helmets or scopes that would enable the griefer to see heat signatures through walls.
One group of users decided to ignore the debate and discuss the features they would like to see in GTA’s high-rise cribs. UberLegitPlacebo said: “Shame that we can’t go outside on our balcony.” It would be spring break with murder.
No matter how appealing the idea of spring break with additional murder may sound, we encourage you to follow us for more GTA updates as content becomes available.
