First Battlefield Mobile Footage Drops Online. Shows Classic Battlefield 3 Map And Mode
First gameplay footage from the Battlefield Mobilespinoff has been released online. It shows a classic map, and a mode.
After the launch of the alpha test, footage began to circulate earlier today. The game is currently available for Android users in Indonesia, the Philippines and other regions. New areas will be added later.
The Alpha currently offers only one map, Battlefield3‘s Grand Bazaar. The long-running fan favorite Conquest is currently the only mode that can be played. Battlefield Mobile looks great for an alpha. Industrial Toys certainly seems to have captured the essence of the franchise, and put it on mobile.
An EA community manager recently explained that the game will be available in your region once it becomes available. You can pre-register for the game on your local Google Play Store Page and you’ll receive an email notification when play testing opens in your area.
“Testing slots can only be reserved by pre-registration. However, you will be notified about any future releases. This test is invitation-only and there is a limit to the number of servers registered.
Battlefield Mobile. The game is being developed by Industrial Toys, with close input from DICE. It is expected that the game will launch next year.
Oskar Gabrielson, DICE’s general manager, stated that the game was a standalone title. This game is completely different from the one that we made for PC and console, and was specifically designed for mobile platforms. It’s being built from the ground up by iToys to make Battlefield-on-the-go a reality and you can expect a fully-fledged, skill-based experience. The mobile game is currently in testing before it launches next year. More details will follow.
For now, you can look forward to Battlefield 2204 when it launches on consoles or PC November 19.
